Career & Informational Disclaimer
Transparency and honesty first. Please read this notice before relying on any guidance.
⚠️ Essential Transparency Notice
CareerPath AI is an educational planning assistant. It DOES NOT guarantee employment, job offers, interview callbacks, salary levels, visa sponsorship, or academic accreditation.
1. Nature of Fit Scores
Fit percentages (e.g., 85% Fit) are computed deterministically across multi-dimensional criteria: self-reported skills (45%), domain interests (20%), stated experience tier (15%), target objectives (10%), and study hours (10%). They measure estimated mathematical alignment between your self-reported inputs and our catalog criteria. A high fit score does not guarantee you will be hired for that role.
2. Compensation & Salary Disclaimers
CareerPath AI intentionally does not quote fixed or live salary promises. Compensation in technology and professional services depends heavily on geographic location, company funding stage, macroeconomic hiring trends, individual negotiation, and candidate performance. For reliable salary benchmarks, we advise consulting:
- Stack Overflow Annual Developer Survey
- Levels.fyi
- Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Occupational Outlook
- Regional and university graduate employment reports
3. Learning Roadmap Timeframes
Our 12-week learning roadmaps provide structured milestones based on your available weekly hours. Individual learning speeds vary widely based on prior technical exposure, depth of practice, and personal commitments. Mastery requires consistent hands-on building beyond reading materials.
4. AI-Generated Commentary
When enabled, Google Gemini generative AI provides contextual explanations, interview question suggestions, and conversational coaching. Generative AI models can occasionally generate inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated technical suggestions. Always verify technical patterns against authoritative documentation (such as MDN Web Docs, official language specifications, and official library guides).
